This was the philosophical basis for the forming of the SAS Kickers in 1985, and all
these years later we still adhere to this philosophy. While winning soccer games is a
great feeling for most players, parents, friends and coaches, winning soccer games is
not the sole or most important function of our club.  To place winning above everything
else is to miss the reason for playing or coaching the game of soccer.

The SAS Kickers' coaching staff's number one priority is to encourage our players to
take advantage of their educational opportunity.  We constantly remind our players
that success at school can only be achieved by each individual putting in the time
and effort to be able to say to oneself the grade I received represents my best effort.
For us soccer is a tool to encourage and demonstrate to our players that success
at soccer like school requires hard work. We place great emphasis on individual
development within the framework of teamwork. Yes, we see soccer as a working
model for life.

Registration fees are kept as affordable as possible, so as many players as possible
can have the opportunity to play competitive soccer with the same quality of coaching.

Simi Academy of Soccer has teams for boys and girls, ages 8 to 17 years old.  To find
